Since becoming a lawyer in 1975, after graduating from the University of Texas School of Law, I have worked with some prestigious law firms, including a position as an associate with the firm of the Henry Klepak, the cousin of the late Hollywood Producer Aaron Spelling. We handled high profile cases including a 285 million dollar law suit in which M.H. Marr was our client. This was a case in which the United States Supreme set precedent as to what constituted sale of gas in interstate commerce. Early on in my career I was assigned the responsibility of preparing the pleadings and briefs in this case. Later I was an associate in the Law Firm of Thano Dameris. Mr. Dameris was the former National Director of the FDIC and we successfully defended the President of an oil and gas company against allegations of criminal RICO allegations.
